I never knew if I was going to get a metal taste or worse. I've had this machine for a month, and it's great. My coffee tastes much better, and I can drink water knowing it will taste like water should.

Other reviews talk about the noise level. I don't think the noise is all that bad. I have a very small house, and it doesn't bother me when I'm watching TV. I also don't turn it on until I want hot or cold water. The hot water gets hot quickly, the cold water takes a little longer though. The hot water only puts out a couple of cups then has to reheat.

This is a small unit compared to the 5 gallon standing systems, but because you fill it up with your own tap water you don't have to mess with lifting, or returning the water bottles. The water flow is slower, but it doesn't bother me, as it is only about ten or more seconds to fill a water bottle.

Over all great machine.

Amazing product. My wife is pregnant and need to drink 3-4 gallons every day. She completes her target easily as water is cold and tasty. Our friends were over for the weekend and they liked the taste so much that they decided to buy one for them. We call it buy of the YEAR.

I had a Brita for a few years the filters were way too expensive, and the water did NOT taste clean like this one! Hot Tea is right!!! Cold is fresh! And yes Room Temp water! Motor seems loud BUT it is a High Quality machine so I feel it is great and HIGHLY Recommend this machine!

I own the 2 gallon Cuisinart CleanWater System and have been using it for 3 weeks with no problems. The cold water is cold, and the hot water is HOT. Set up was minimal with the exception of soaking the filter. I have not experienced any leakage or any problems whatsoever. My family has not bought bottled water since we started using this. I really love the design and how it fits neatly in the corner of my kitchen counter tops.

We just received our Cuisinart water filtration system from Amazon on Friday and have been using it all weekend. The directions to set it up are easy to follow and really looks nice in our kitchen.
Like many people we wanted to go away from bottled water to help the environment and save money at the same time.
We selected the WCH-1500 to pick up the hot water feature and it immediately replaced our tea kettle which has sat on the stove for years. The temperature is perfect and instant hot water is a real plus.
